Nathy Feely
Nathy Feely is a highly experienced professional in the field of packaging technology concentrating primarily on the pharmaceutical sector. As an independent consultant to industry he is in an excellent position to identify best practices and advise on strategy and process development. His expertise is in procurement and management of outsourced services, as well as product security and anti-counterfeiting technologies.
Prior to establishing Short Mountain Consulting Nathy was Director, Packaging Services at Wyeth (and after acquisition, Pfizer) where he established EMEA centralised and outsourced artwork and labelling service.
He co-authored the ISPE (International Society of Pharmaceutical Engineering) “Guidance for Designing an Anti-Counterfeiting Technology Strategy”. He is a regular contributor to industry seminars where he is frequently complimented on his informal style and practical advice.
A Chemistry graduate of National University of Ireland (at Galway) Nathy worked in research and development for several years, his work focussed on packaging materials, including the now familiar water soluble film used in washing detergents. After this he progressed to increasingly senior roles in Packaging Development and Supply Chain Management with Schering AG, Boots & Danone.
Nathy is also a champion of Change Management “the people side of change”, maintaining that technology is no longer the rate determinant of change, people are.
